The Provincial Auditor of Saskatchewan is seeking a motivated individual to join our team for a minimum 4-month term position. We are the external auditors of the Government of Saskatchewan. By sharing the results of our audits, we give legislators and the public information about how well the Government is managing Saskatchewan’s public resources and taxpayers’ dollars.
Based in Regina, we work in a team environment that is professional, supportive, and flexible.
You will gain practical work experience as a legislative auditor to supplement your university studies and obtain required experience for your CPA designation. The position is full-time for a minimum of 4 months to a maximum of 8 months during May to December 2019. Start and end dates are flexible.
We audit the Government of Saskatchewan that is comprised of over 230 different agencies including ministries, Crown corporations, universities, school boards, funds, and benefit plans. Staff have the opportunity to plan and complete small audits. Our students are also assigned to sections of larger audits. You will receive a competitive salary and benefit package.
Have completed 45 credit hours towards a Bachelor of Business Administration or a Bachelor of Commerce degree
Be planning to pursue a CPA designation
Have strong communication skills, motivation, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
The successful candidate shall be subject to a Criminal Record Check as a condition of employment.
