The Provincial Auditor of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly-motivated individual to join our team in providing assurance and advice to the Legislative Assembly on the management, governance, and effective use of public resources. We are the external, independent auditors of the Government of Saskatchewan.

The Position:

Performance Auditors are responsible for conducting performance audits in a team environment. This includes using established audit methodologies to develop audit plans, collect and analyze data, write audit reports, and present audit results. Audits are conducted in a wide range of industries and government sectors such as education, health, insurance, social services, finance, environment, and infrastructure.

Candidates Qualifications:

  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis and research skills
  • Knowledge of government and the public sector, preferably in Saskatchewan
  • Several years of relevant work experience, preferably in management, policy, program evaluation, or audit
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Robust interpersonal and coaching skills, as well as experience in building positive relationships and working with diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional excellence, leading-edge practice, professional development, and career growth
  • Commitment to making a difference in the quality, and accountability, of the public sector
  • Master’s degree from a recognized university is an asset
