The Provincial Auditor of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly-motivated individual to support its audit teams in developing and executing data analysis for financial and performance audits. We audit more than 230 agencies of the provincial Government, including ministries, Crown corporations, post-secondary institutions, health authority, funds, and benefit plans in a range of industries and government sectors such as education, health, social services, insurance, finance, environment, and infrastructure.
We are the external, independent auditors of the Government of Saskatchewan. By sharing our audits’ results, we provide assurance and advice to the Legislative Assembly and the public on the management, governance, and effective use of public resources.

The Data Analyst develops, documents, and executes computer-assisted audit techniques (CAATs) to extract and process data to give audit teams reliable and timely data, analysis, and reports. The Data Analyst advises the Office on data acquisition methods, data analytic approaches, and data presentation.
