Carolyn O’Quinn Appointed Assistant Provincial Auditor of Saskatchewan effective June 1, 2022

Ms. O’Quinn served as Deputy Provincial Auditor and replaces Mr. Kelly Deis who retires in June 2022 after more than 25 years of service

REGINA—May 27, 2022: Carolyn O'Quinn, CPA, CA, will become Assistant Provincial Auditor on June 1 after leading the Finance Division, among other roles in the Office, for more than 25 years. She assumes the role from Kelly Deis, CPA, CA, who is retiring.

Ms. O’Quinn is a Chartered Professional Accountant with significant expertise in legislative auditing including specialized knowledge in public sector accounting standards, as well as auditing gaming organizations. As Deputy Provincial Auditor for the Finance Division, she led the audit work for the Government’s Summary Financial Statements, the Ministries of Finance and Government Relations, and numerous public sector pension and benefit plans.

Ms. O’Quinn holds a Bachelor of Administration degree from the University of Regina. She currently serves as the Chair of the CPA Saskatchewan Professional Conduct Committee.
