Ms. Tara Clemett Joins Office's Senior Management Team February 2, 2016

REGINA, Sask., February 2, 2016 – The Office of the Provincial Auditor is pleased to announce the promotion of Ms. Tara Clemett to Deputy Provincial Auditor. Ms. Clemett began her new role on Monday, February 1, 2016.

Ms. Clemett has been with the Provincial Auditor of Saskatchewan for 18 years and holds a Bachelor of Administration from the University of Regina. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Certified Information Systems Auditor with experience in financial and performance audits, including those focused on information technology and the environment.

“Ms. Clemett is actively involved in the Canadian legislative audit community and, through her strong work and leadership, has contributed to improving the Saskatchewan public sector,” says Provincial Auditor Judy Ferguson. “I welcome her to the Office’s senior management team, and look forward to her serving legislators and the public in her new role.”

The Office of the Provincial Auditor serves the Members of the Legislative Assembly and the people of Saskatchewan by providing independent assurance and advice on the management, governance, and effective use of public resources.
